For the Welsh national Cheer squad, nothing means more than representing their country at the highest level. They’re willing to give it everything, but how will they fare in a final showdown for gold against cheerleading superstars Team USA?

Capturing the highs, lows, twists and turns, this empowering film follows the disabled and non-disabled athletes of Team Wales Adaptive Abilities on and off the mat as they prepare for the World Cheerleading Championships in Florida. After years of hard training, their chance to be named best in the world comes down to a two minute, 15 seconds routine for the judges.

Led by coach Sabrina, this team of elite athletes are pushed to the limit. For cheerleaders like Brad, Libby and Antonia, life focuses on mastering sharp choreography, stunts and balancing their personal lives as the months, weeks and days count down to stepping into the spotlight at the biggest competition within the sport. Team Wales might be cheerleading underdogs, but with glory on a global stage up for grabs, this squad are ready to go for gold.
