Hour-long documentaries Trump: Should We Be Scared and The Search for Nicola Bulley are among six new titles on the slate for UK distributor Silverlining Rights as it gears up for Mipcom.
Produced by Passion Pictures for Channel 4 in the UK, the former project examines how Donald Trump might approach a second term if he is elected as US president, while the latter, produced by Rogan Productions for BBC One, documents the story of the young mother whose disappearance and death by accidental drowning caused a social media firestorm.
Also on the slate is The Sinking Of A Superyacht: How Safe Is Your Voyage? (Emporium Productions for ITV), Rose Ayling-Ellis: Signs for Change (Rogan Productions for BBC One), Storms from Above (Good TV for Channel 5) and The Wrong Man: 17 Years Behind Bars (Two Step Productions for BBC Two).
“From exclusive access films, and in-depth explorations into global events, to entertaining and informative natural history and new additions to our high-performing true crime, property, history and science slates, it’s backed with content appealing to global buyers,” said Silverlining founder and MD, Bethan Corney.
