The Secret World of Fight Clubs is a deep dive into the fast growing, murky and controversial world of underground fight clubs that have sprung up across the UK in the last couple of years and built huge online followings.

With exclusive access to two very different clubs in Manchester and Stockton-upon-Tees this character-led film follows two fighters and two organisers from their preparations through to the very bloody showdowns inside the ring. Uncovering what motivates them, the reality of what happens in these events and why they’re willing to risk their lives for them, this is a film that also asks bigger questions about what and how we express masculinity and why such violence appeals to those who fight, organise and view these events.

This film is part of Channel 4’s popular UNTOLD strand. UNTOLD delivers defining, noisy, brave, bold, compelling and cheeky journalism on subjects that really matter to it's viewers.
