Eight int’l broadcasters join for Silverlining’s quick turnaround on yacht disaster

UK commercial broadcaster ITV and another seven international channels are on board a quick turnaround documentary on events which led to the recent tragic sinking of the superyacht Bayesian.

TV4 (Sweden), DPG (Belgium), TV2 (Denmark), VMTV (Ireland), CNN (Portugal), HOT8 (Israel) and TVNZ are all on board The Sinking Of A Superyacht: How Safe Is Your Voyage?

The 1×60’ documentary is being produced by Emporium Productions and independent production finance broker and distributor Silverlining Rights has brought the eight broadcasters together, along with a distribution advance, to get the project off the ground.

Seven people lost their lives when the yacht was sunk by a dramatic storm in the early hours of Monday August 19 while moored outside Porticello in Sicily.
