Frank Films is behind four-part Platoon, which centres on new recruits joining the British Infantry.
Co-produced with GroupM Motion Entertainment, and distributed by Silverling Rights, the series follows a platoon of 30 highly trained soldiers, who socialise and fight together, fostering close bonds.
The series embeds itself with a small crew within a platoon to tell the soldiers’ stories from formation to deployment.
Commissioned by Kit Morey, the series is exec produced by Jamie Balment and Martin Oxley for Frank Films and GroupM Motion Entertainment respectively. Will Lorimer will serve as series director.
