Here are some of the highlights

The Hormone Fix, C4

In this 60-minute programme, Davinia Taylor explores the role hormones play in our everyday lives, from sleep, stress and mood to appetite and energy levels. Meeting leading experts and contributors with first-hand experience, she investigates how hormonal health can affect our wellbeing and uncovers practical insights and intriguing new wellness methods that we can all apply to our everyday lives. Combining science, personal stories and Davinia’s infectious curiosity, The Hormone Fix makes a complex subject accessible, empowering audiences to take ownership of their wellness habits and to have a greater understanding of how our bodies work.

Young, British and Trad Wife, BBC

Tradwives are trending. This year the term was added to the Cambridge English dictionary, as the hashtag has over 300 million views on TikTok – and counting. Tradwives promote the pleasures of domesticity and teach others how to embrace homemaking. But for some this phenomenon is more than just pretty aesthetics: it’s a return to patriarchal gender roles and traditional values. Film-maker Poppy Jay meets British women who embrace the Tradwife lifestyle to ask why they are rejecting feminism, obeying their husbands and returning to the kitchen.

The Book that Changed My Life, BBC

Her Majesty Queen Camilla has a passion to get people reading. Now she joins four remarkable people, each with a story to tell of how books transformed their lives, when they most needed help. Warm, emotional, and full of hope, this is a tale of how reading can lift us, open our minds, and even change our lives.

Love Cheats Season 2, c4

This captivating and hit premium doc series returns with extraordinary tales of romance fraud, exposing the love, lies and shocking tactics of heartless manipulators and the fight to bring them to justice. Stories span the UK, Scotland, Australia, USA and Asia.

Mythland, BBC

From strange lights in the sky to creatures lurking in deep lochs, ancient legends collide with contemporary encounters in a country where the unexplained continues to capture the imagination. Parapsychologist and writer Evelyn Hollow and ecologist and comedian Dr Zara Gladman journey from the Isle of Skye to the Scottish Borders to investigate Scotland’s myths, old and new. Exploring witches, UFOs, fairies, Mary Queen of Scots and the elusive Loch Morar monster, they follow the evidence and ask why these stories retain such a powerful hold over us.
