Each episode of World's Most Beautiful Landscapes celebrates a specific area of our world, taking us on a privileged and continuous journey to explore all its incredible features. Unique footage from satellites and drones above combines with spectacular cinematography down below to reveal the secrets and splendour of the places you always wanted to visit. Interviews with experts and the people who call these places home add insight and reveal what it's like to live and work in these truly unique places.

Rich and visually satisfying, this is no ordinary travel series, with each episode a journey covering nature, geography, geology, history and humanity.

Follow the extraordinary landscape of the Scottish Highlands, from the deep waters of Loch Ness, to the heights of Ben Nevis, the stunning scenery of the Isle of Skye and the fascinating story of the Highlands’ geological history.


Episode 4

Discover the natural wonders of The Mekong River in South East Asia, following its course through six countries via astonishing waterfalls, the world’s most amazing lake, the ancient civilisation of Angkor and one of the world’s most diverse rainforests.

A breath-taking visual journey through the extraordinary landscape of the Lake District, from the exquisite lakes of Ullswater and Lake Windermere, to the grand heights of Helvellyn, through ancient woodlands and Roman remains.

Follow the journey along the incredible landscape of Northern Ireland’s Causeway Coast, from the natural haven of Glenariff, to the sea life of Rathlin Island, to the staggering volcanic columns of the Giant’s Causeway.


Episode 8

Go on a visual breath-taking journey through the extraordinary landscape of The Amazon, following its course for 4,000 miles from its source in the Peruvian Andes, home to the Incas, towards the Atlantic, surrounded for thousands of miles around by the world’s greatest and most naturally diverse rainforest.
