Rare Breed is the ground-breaking year-in-the-life documentary series charting the reality of farming in Northern Ireland. For over a decade the series has charted life on farms and the challenges farmers, and their families, across the country have had to face, following their successes and struggles and the highs and lows.
Now in its eleventh year, the newest series follows twelve farming families as they deal with one of the most unpredictable periods in living memory. From arable farmers, to dairy herds and from supplying vegetables to supermarkets to award-winning goats! Plus there are generations living together on farms, adjustment for those coming to farming life from towns and those balancing breeding and training with the world of events and shows.
