Following the success of Series 1, this new eight-part series (8 x 60′) once again takes viewers behind the scenes of one of Britain’s oldest and grandest estates, offering a unique insight into the work, people and wildlife that make Longleat a national treasure.
Set in the heart of Wiltshire, the show follows Lord and Lady Bath and their dedicated team as they navigate life across the sprawling 9,000-acre estate through the seasons, spring, summer, autumn and winter.
From the housekeepers of the grand Elizabethan Longleat House to the safari park keepers, foresters, beekeepers, balloonists and event organisers, every corner of the estate plays a role in its year-round story.
The series also ventures beyond the stately home and safari park, showcasing Shearwater Lake, the estate’s restaurants, and the village of Horningsham, home to many of Longleat’s farming tenants. Viewers will even travel as far as Cheddar Gorge, where the Longleat team manages the world-famous caves that form part of the estate’s holdings.
